LiftED (formerly The Leacock Foundation, established in 1992) is a registered charity dedicated to creating a world where all children and youth can achieve their full potential. Our mission is to address inequity by empowering young people to cultivate critical and creative thinking skills, enabling them to become confident leaders now and in the future. We achieve this by providing enriched and free literacy and leadership programs during after-school hours and summer breaks, which contribute to improved academic outcomes and enhanced self-esteem among students. Recognizing that strong literacy skills are foundational for educational success, our programs focus on developing these essential skills early on, thereby setting youth on a path for future achievement.
