UPtown Yonge is located near the centre of Toronto, so planning to visit by car or transit is easy. Over 100,000 people live in the surrounding area, making the area accessible by bike or foot as well.

By Car

UPtown Yonge’s central location means driving is faster than you think: just 15 minutes from downtown, and about 35 minutes from Mississauga, Richmond Hill, or Pickering.

From the North

From the northeast, take Highway 404 South to Highway 401 West, then continue to Yonge Street. Drive south along Yonge Street past Lawrence Avenue. When you see Glengrove Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the north end of UPtown Yonge.

From the northwest, take Highway 400 South to Highway 401 East, then continue to Yonge Street. Drive south along Yonge Street past Lawrence Avenue. When you see Glengrove Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the north end of UPtown Yonge.

From the East

Take Highway 401 West to Yonge Street, then drive south along Yonge Street past Lawrence Avenue. When you see Glengrove Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the north end of UPtown Yonge.

From the South

Take Yonge Street North past Eglinton Avenue. When you see Roehampton Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the south end of UPtown Yonge.

From the West

From the west, take Highway 401 East to Yonge Street, then drive south along Yonge Street past Lawrence Avenue. When you see Glengrove Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the north end of UPtown Yonge.

From the southwest, take the Queen Elizabeth Way East, then merge onto the Gardiner Expressway East. Exit to Yonge Street, and take Yonge Street North past Eglinton Avenue. When you see Roehampton Avenue on the right, you’ve arrived at the south end of UPtown Yonge.

By Transit

Located directly on the Yonge subway line and serviced by buses running 24 hours, UPtown Yonge is easy to get to by public transit. For up to date transit information, visit the Toronto Transit Commission website.

By Subway

Take the Yonge-University-Spadina subway to Eglinton station, and leave the station on foot through the north exits. Walk one block north on Yonge Street. When you see Roehampton Avenue on the right or Orchard View Boulevard on the left, you’ve arrived at the south end of UPtown Yonge.

By Bus

From the north or south, take the 97 Yonge bus to Glengrove Avenue (on the north end) and walk south, or Eglinton Avenue (on the south end) and walk north.

From the east, take the 34 Eglinton East bus to Eglinton station, leave the station on foot through the north exits, and walk one block north on Yonge Street.

From the west, take the 32 Eglinton West bus to Eglinton station, leave the station on foot through the north exits, and walk one block north on Yonge Street.
