Lifted Literacy and Leadership (LiftED) (formally known as The Leacock Foundation) was established in 1992 by Peter Oliver (Oliver & Bonacini), to make a difference in the lives of youth in need in Toronto and South Africa.
Lifted Literacy and Leadership (LiftED) strives to empower and inspire youth in need through educational and leadership opportunities. Through a unique educational model, called the Triangle of Hope, a Toronto independent school is partnered with a high-needs school in Toronto and a high-needs school in South Africa. Together, they build community networks, locally and globally, and share in meaningful educational opportunities.
