The Sign of the Skier
Toronto’s love affair with cottage country is a year round obsession: engaging in snow sports in the winter and enjoying the outdoors during the warmer months. The Sign of the Skier caters to both at their Uptown Yonge store.
The second generation family owned store has grown since its 1962 opening, offering high-tech and functional sportswear, skis, snowboards, and accessories, plus legendary ski shop services. It’s immediately apparent that the well informed staff know their stuff: brands like KJUS, Arc’teryx, Stockli, and Spy are known for innovation and performance. The store outfits men, women and kids. The Junior “Half-Back” program helps keep kids in new equipment each season.
All products are carefully selected in order to meet the needs of a broad range of abilities and requirements. Regular customers are greeted by name creating a very welcoming shopping experience.
